The Belair Home will be the beneficiary of all the funds emerging from the 5th Annual Kids Fest which will be held at the Morne Rouge Playing Field on Saturday April 23.
Kids Fest is put on annually by the Real Value IGA Community Outreach Committee as another way of giving back to the residents of the Belair Home for Children and Adolescents.
Patrons attending this year’s event can look forward to an exciting day filled with lots of events for the children including face painting, bouncing castle, horseback riding and the new and exciting Discovery Train. More activities and two new games have been added to the day’s event and the children can look forward to winning lots of prizes.
The event has grown over the last four years, not only in participation but by the contribution the Company has been making to the Home in Calliste. Last year after Kids Fest 2010, Real Value IGA doubled its contribution from $2,500.00 the previous year to $5,000.00. It is hoped that there will be an even greater contribution this year.
The general public is being encouraged to come out in their numbers to support this worthwhile venture.
